We are Girls Get Social.

A West Midlands social events group for the girls that get it.

Hey girlie! Welcome to Girls Get Social.

The older you get, the harder it gets to find your girls for life - we get it, we've been there! That's why we've created this social events group for the girls that get it.

Established in 2023, Girls Get Social holds fun & light-hearted events planned across the West Midlands for girls (18+) of all backgrounds. These are all designed to combat loneliness, and boost self-esteem and confidence whilst creating unforgettable memories for our community.

We created this group to facilitate women of all ages coming together and making these friendships in person rather than just online! We are proud to be a registered Community Interest Company (CIC) & not-for-profit community, with 100% of our ticket proceeds going towards the running of our events and making it the best experience possible for our girls!

No matter what the event or activity may be, we will help you find positive female friendships one event at a time.

Follow us over on our socials to join our community! You're safe here.

Values

Inclusivity & Diversity

We believe every girl deserves to feel a deep sense of belonging. Our events are intentionally designed to be a safe haven where all girls across the West Midlands are celebrated for exactly who they are—regardless of their background, interests, or abilities. We actively cultivate a space free from prejudice and harmful behaviour, and we have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of discrimination, including: homophobia, transphobia, racism, Xenophobia or Islamophobia. We are fiercely committed to protecting the well-being and safety of all girls in our community, especially those from marginalised or minority groups.

Empowerment

We're passionate about equipping girls with the confidence and skills they need to thrive. Our events provide opportunities for them to discover new strengths, unleash their creativity, find their voice, and tackle new challenges. By helping them build resilience, courage, and self-worth, we empower them to become the best versions of themselves. It’s an incredible privilege to witness our community of girls uplift and encourage one another every single day.

Community & Collaboration

We believe in the power of women supporting women! We are dedicated to creating a stronger, more vibrant community by actively partnering with and amplifying the voices of other women and their ventures, inside and outside our community. We proudly collaborate with West Midlands-based businesses, brands, venues, and charities that share our values, celebrating the incredible talent and beauty right here in our local area.
